Study Methods and Registration

The Chartered Institute of Port, Shipping and Transport Management USA Membership and Chartered Program can be studied anywhere you are. CIPSTM USA has two study methods:

• Self-Study
• Instructor Support Study

You are expected to choose the best study method suitable for you. Upon registration, all study materials are provided to you, including a study timetable and examination timetable.

Each stage consists of 6 courses. Students can decide to register 3 courses for each batch or the 6 courses for each batch. Each stage can be completed in each batch or more. The pass mark for each course is 50%.

Note:

• 1. Holders of High School Diploma will start with the Foundation Stage, progressing to the Intermediate Stage, and then the Professional Stage to ascertain the Chartered Membership Status of Associate Chartered Port, Shipping and Transport Professional (ACPSTP).
• 2. Holders of Associate of Science / Associate of Art / Diploma or its equivalent will start with the Intermediate Stage, progressing to the Professional Stage to ascertain the Chartered Membership Status of Associate Chartered Port, Shipping and Transport Professional (ACPSTP).
• 3. Holders of Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent will start with the Professional Stage to ascertain the Chartered Membership Status of Associate Chartered Port, Shipping and Transport Professional (ACPSTP).
